Payment Gateways
Depending on which extension you have installed, you can enable the different Payment Gateways within these settings. Paypal Standard and Test Mode are the ones which are included within the main Deals plugin as standard.
Test Mode
If you activate the "Test Mode" Payment Gateway, then no live transaction are made. You can fully test the plugin with that activated, including the complete checkout and payment process.
PayPal Settings
When you have a PayPal API, then you can send the refunds directly from this page by clicking on the "Issue Refund" button.
PayPal Standard
This is the standard Payment Gateway for PayPal. If activated, this will redirect the users to PayPal to make their payment for purchasing your Deals. The users can add the products to the cart and after they provided their info, they are being redirected to Paypal to complete the purchase.
Enable Debug
If you have trouble with a payment gateway, then you can activate this option. If checked, debug output will be written to log files. This is useful for troubleshooting post payment failures (for example, if you are not receiving the email after payment).
PayPal Email Address/Secure Merchant ID
To make your site ready to receive payments via the PayPal Payment gateway, you only need to enter your PayPal email address in to this field. You don't need to do anything else. The PayPal API is optional.
Cheque Payment Settings
If you use the Cheque Payment Gateway, which is included within the main Deals plugin, user have a option to make payment throught cheque.
Title
Enter the title which the user sees during checkout.
Customer Message
Let the customer know the payee and where they should be sending the cheque to and that their order won't be processed until you receive it.
Mark Order As Completed
Check this box if you want to automatically mark the order as completed, when cheque payment is proceed by user.
PayPal API
If you use the standard PayPal Payment Gateway, which is included within the main Deals plugin, then the usage of a PayPal API is optional. The API is only being used to make refunds within the Deals Sales settings. See image below:
