Creating a social content locker is quite easy. You will see a locker icon within the WordPress editor, just as shown in the image below.

Click on the locker icon to start creating a social locker. A new window with the custom settings will pop up. Within these settings you have the ability to completely customize the look and all the messages for each content locker you create.
You have the ability to create as many content lockers as you like within the same post/page. You just need to repeat the steps shown below.
The only thing which needs to be unique is the URL users need to share to get the content unlocked. If you are using the same URL within all the content lockers, then they all get unlocked as soon as one has been shared by your users.
Social Content Locker Shortcode
Select a Shortcode
Select a shortcode type from the dropdown list you want to use to lock your content. Now we are going to use the Social Locker shortcode, as shown in the image above.
Box Color
Here you can choose a custom color for your content locker box.
Message
This will be the message that appears above the buttons when content in your post is locked. Leave it empty if you want to use the default message from the plugins settings page.
Enable Facebook
Choose „Yes“ if you want to use Facebook within your content locker.
Facebook URL
This field will only be shown when you choose to use Facebook within the content locker. Enter the URL you want users to share for the Facebook content locker. Leave it empty for the current post.
Enable Google +
Choose "Yes“ if you want to use Google + within your content locker.
Google + URL
This field will only be shown when you choose to use Google + within the content locker. Enter the URL you want users to share for the Google + content locker. Leave it empty for the current post.
Enable Twitter
Choose "Yes“ if you want to use Twitter within your content locker.
Tweet Url
This field will only be shown when you choose to use Twitter within the content locker. Enter the URL you want users to share for the Twitter content locker. Leave it empty for the current post.
Enable Twitter Follow Button
Choose "Yes“ if you want to use Twitter Follow within your content locker.
Twitter User
Enter the Twitter User you want people to follow to get the content unlocked.
Enable LinkedIn
Choose "Yes“ if you want to use LinkedIn within your content locker.
LinkedIn URL
This field will only be shown when you choose to use LinkedIn within the content locker. Enter the URL you want users to share for the LinkedIn content locker. Leave it empty for the current post.
Content
Within the Editor you can enter any content you like to lock. You can use it just like the normal WordPress editor. All the content you enter here will be locked until users share it.
Insert Shortcode
After you entered all the information you want, click on the "Insert Shortcode“ button and the shortcode will be entered in to the normal WordPress editor with all you custom settings.
Now you only need to save/update your post and the content locker is done and ready.
Social Locker Frontend
After you created your Social Locker it will look something like the one shown in the image below. It depends on the settings you used. Now your content will be locked until the user shares it.
